Project Summary
Roberto Granados wanted a clean, low-maintenance way to store and launch his two Yamaha WaveRunners directly from his Singer Island condo marina. His slip measured just 13 feet wide, and the area experiences constant wake from large sportfishers and yachts running through the Intracoastal. We designed a dual Wave Armor Pro Wide Body Maxx setup that fits perfectly within the space while providing maximum buoyancy, stability, and easy boarding access.
The Challenge
Because this marina is exposed to frequent boat traffic, Roberto needed a system that would stay stable during wake and tidal shifts, fit cleanly within a 13-foot-wide slip, and keep both WaveRunners dry, protected, and easy to access. Traditional lifts weren't practical — too bulky, expensive, and unnecessary for smaller vessels.
Our Solution
Floating Docks Florida installed two Wave Armor Pro Wide Body Maxx PWC Ports (80″ × 168″), secured side-by-side with a galvanized stiff-arm anchoring system mounted to the seawall. Each port's 80-inch width and 13-foot-plus length provide a stable, centered landing area for Yamaha FX-series skis. The heavy-duty rollers and raised entry guides make drive-on operation effortless, while the reinforced HD couplers between ports maintain rigidity under wake movement.
Materials & Setup
- Model: Wave Armor Pro Wide Body Maxx (80" × 168")
- Configuration: Dual side-by-side installation (total footprint ~13 ft wide)
- Anchoring: Heavy-duty stiff-arm bracket system (galvanized steel)
- Surface: UV-protected tan polyethylene, anti-slip texture
- Buoyancy Capacity: ≈ 2,000 lbs per port
- Vessels: Yamaha WaveRunner FX Series (x2)
The Result
The finished installation delivers premium functionality and aesthetics worthy of its luxury condo setting. Both skis sit completely out of the water, secure and ready to launch at any tide. The stiff-arm anchoring keeps the docks steady under passing wakes while allowing the entire system to rise and fall naturally with the tide.
"It fits the space perfectly and feels rock-solid, even when the big boats come through. I can launch both skis in seconds — best setup I've ever had."
